Tamari- Stress is our internal response to a situation we find hard to manage. Two techniques for managing stress includes being aware of potential stressors and taking a break or time out from activities. Support groups are important because they provide opportunity for people to share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies or firsthand information about stressors. They also help an individual by reducing distress, depression, anxiety and fatigue and allows for gain of empowerment, control and hope to cope with stressful situations they might be faced with. Sharing workload relieves stress by allowing for individuals to achieve a common goal. With shared workload they can share their concerns, ideas and insights with other staff. When there is a shared workspace it takes the pressure off individuals and reduces their stress level.

2. Exercise - When your body feels good, your body follows suit.
Highlight the relevance of support groups in managing stress.
1. It directs your focus if even for a time - You focus less on your situation and more on the task at hand. By doing this you will gain a sense of empowerment, hope and most importantly control.
2. Having social support makes one more able to cope with problems by themselves as it boosts their self esteem. Studies have also shown that having social support also leads to better health behaviours.
How can sharing workload relieve stress?
One feels less burdened as the pressure is taken off any one person. It also increases interaction among employees and consequently collaboration.

b. Deep Breathing- Stopping and taking a few deep breaths can take the pressure of you right away. Slowly take deep breaths in and out. Do this 5 to 10 minutes at a time.
