Support Parents In Their Parenting Role

Hello Trainees

As we revise this new unit of study I trust that you will recall what you have learnt and contribute to the discussions posted.

Parents are vital to our role as educators. Without parents there will be no children for us to educate.
Many parents will have alot of experience as they may have more than one children and have gained a wealth of experience, or have read parental documents or have taken parental classes.  However, some parents have limited parental skills and experience and will need some support.

1. Why is it important for us as educators to offer support to parent?

  1. Parents are the first educators for children, supporting parent helps for support the learning development for children. This help parents to understand their importance off of their children success in learning institutions.

    Through PT meetings.

  3. Parents always come first in their children's life so as we support parents we are indeed supporting their children also.and to let them have a better understanding.and the growth of their children.and how well they are learning

    It is important so that value for the curriculum towards education are met and a mutual respect for cultural.

    2 train parents in skills so that they can help their children.

    Have a open fair to educate parents how to support their children

  5. Kishana Hutchison parent are vital to. Our role as educater so without parent. their will no children to educate so we need to support our parent in educating them to educate their children also
