For instance a burn is cause by dry heat like iron ,fire and scalds is cause by something wet such as hot water or steam. And i also learn there are differen ways in which to treat burns. And also different levels burns

DeleteGood evening Miss and everyone. I have learned that the skin has three layers;the epidermis which is the outer layer of skin,
the dermis this is the layer of tissue just beneath, which contains blood capillaries, nerve endings, sweat glands and hair follicles
the subcutaneous fat, or subcutis which is the deeper layer of fat and tissue. Depending on where to burn is determine the severity of the burnt.
The information were helpful as it tells how to treat burns, and also reminds you who that you do not put ice water and burns nor butter.
Crystal.
DeleteI learned that as a child care provider/teacher mostly get injury through stretching lifting a heavy equipment on the lifting babies. With that said measures need to be put into place if and when these accident occurs.

DeleteI have learned that School field trip is a effective educational activity for students that helps facilitate fast and efficient learning.Instead of just reading and writing in the classroom, schools are taking the effort to offer creative learning to students through educational field trips, this erases the boredom of classroom lectures, even if it’s just for a day. Moreover, it awakens student’s interest to learn and get new learning information, no matter how boring the subject is in theory..

DeleteI have learnt that burns and scales are damage to the skin which is caused by heat and they are both treated the same way but are slightly different.
Burn is caused by dry heat and scald is caused by wet and hot steam or water, and if the burn is not a minor injury that cannot be treated at home you have to seek medical professional help.
I've also learnt that burns and scald are very painful and may cause red or peeling skin, blisters, swelling and white charred skin.

ReplyDeleteI have learned the proper way to treat burns, prior to reading on this topic I never knew that when someone gets a burn one should not use vaseline and rub it.I have also gain a wider understanding on the treatment of burns that it is in relation to the severity of the type of burns. Before today topic I never knew there was so many type of burns and different skin reaction to burns
Awesome. I am very happy you learnt something new.
DeleteI have learnt that burns and scales are damage to the skin caused by heat. Both are treated in the same way.Burn is caused by dry heat by an iron or fire and scald is caused by something wet like hot water or steam. Children and pregnant women are at a greater risk from the effects of burns. There are four main types of burns, which tend to have a different appearance and different symptoms like full thickness burn and you can prevent babies and young children from burns and scald by keep you child out of the kitchen and keep matches and lighters out of there sight.
ReplyDeleteI am happy you learnt all of this new information.
DeleteI have learnt that Burns and scalds are damage to the skin caused by heat. Both are treated in the same way,and the different types and also how to prevent them
ReplyDeleteGood. But you need to give some more information to show what you have learnt.

ReplyDeleteUpon reading this excerpt I was fascinated in that it's the first time I am fully realising that health and safety in early childhood institution take regards to teacher, most of the time they focus on the children.Once hadzardus situation are identify and steps are taking to address them, with regular training and information gathered to keep staff abreast of safety measures and requirements our job as caregiver can be less stressing.I have also realized that the guidance of the children by telling them the risk and dangers of improper use of equipment will vastly assist us, teacher students ratio also have it advantages one there is adequate staff the risk of accident are minimised
This is great Corrine. I am intrigued.

ReplyDeleteI have learn that burns and scalds are damage to the skin and that then are treated the same way, burns are cause by heart and scalds are cause by steam or hot water. Also learn that when skins are burn you see a water bump or peeling of red skin , white or charred skin and you can tell the types of burn you get by the pain that you are feeling, some of the things tou can take to ease the pain are painkillers or ibuprofen. Burns that need medical attention are chemicals/ Electrical burns or any burns that are bigger than your hands, if you want to prevent your children from burns and scalds keep them away from the kitchen, put away all matches lighters and lit candles also when bath time to ensure the the temperature of the water is safe for the child you can use your elbow to test it.
Awesome Marie. I appreciate your participation.
DeleteAlso some ways of preventing them are createing a kid-free zone. Teach younger children to stay at least 3 feet away from your cooking space. ...
ReplyDeleteKeep hot objects out of children's reach. Cook on the back burners of the stove and turn pot handles away from the edge.Teach older children to cook safely.Avoid using microwaves to heat baby milk or formula.
Excellent Tashmae.
DeleteI learnt that in the early Childhood education and care setting, injuries can often come from task like lifting children moving heavy objects and task like these my involve hazardous manual handling and it can lead to sprains and stains to the back and shoulders. Involving your employees in health and safety can result in a safer workplace and also consultation is an important part of a risk management and under Victorian occupational health and safety law, there are specific duties to ensure health and safety are in the workplace.

ReplyDeleteI have learned that field trips offer a wide range of benefits, I have become more enlighten on the real essence of of field trips which extend to cultural and educational benefits.when Children can experience the joy of going to shop in a supermarket cashing waiting for their change and receipt gives Children a sense of pride and a taste of what mummy and daddy do.aldo add value to them in that it shows them that it takes money to get things so they should not waste things
Very much so. They are great at developing the total child.

ReplyDeleteI love the fact that the ECI are so concerned about the children health and safety 100% ,I have learn about the risks and care of the ECI and what it may involve and that it can leand to disorders like sprains and strains to back and shoulder, I have also learned about the duties of the employer, who is a employer and that a employer can be a person , a company and partnership, also health and safety legal duties.
I like that you have learnt so much. You could gave written in more details what you have learnt instead of highlighting the topics you learnt about.
DeleteOkay miss
DeleteMarie Brown
ReplyDeleteI have learn about the benefits of field trips in in the ECI and that it has alot of effects on a child life and their learning,it also give students equal opportunity to experience things outside of the classroom and that there family may not be able to afford.
Great. You could give a few examples to show me that you fully understand.

ReplyDeleteI learnt that in treating burns and scald wwe must make sure that appropriate first aid be used as soon as possible to the burns and scald as this will limit the amount of damage to the skin and that also burns and scald must be stop as soon as possy by cooling the burn with cool or warm running water for aleast 20 mins right after the injury, never use iced water, cream or any greasy substance.
Great work.Good research. Just try to watch out for those typos before you publish.
DeleteOk miss thanks
DeleteTracey-Ann
ReplyDeleteI learnt that in the ec we must ensure that Children are protected from harm,an maximise their opportunities for learning and development, hazard are often comes from lifting and moving heavy objects and alot of bending and reaching, task like these will lead to muscles disorder like sprains and strains to the back and shoulders
Very good Tracey. I see you completed your research.

ReplyDeleteI have learnt that field trips can help Children to facilitate fast and efficient learning it's also connects them to the real world and causes them not to be bored..
Good work. But you could have added more information.
DeleteI learnt that field trip provide the children with real world experience which children are able to create a connection between what happened at school and in the real world. Field trip are more about enjoyment, fun and excitement without pressure, field trip bring better grades in studies. It open their eyes to new environment and new cultures it also shapes their perspective on a global level and triggers ideas and solution that may now stem from their natural behaviour and habits and field trip make it possible for children who are unable to expose to the outside world.
ReplyDeleteExcellent work. Well done
DeleteI uderstand that field trip is very important for children, going out their and experience the different type of things.lean more about what happen in school and what is happening in the reall world.

ReplyDeleteYanique Pusey.
ReplyDeleteI have learnt that lifting, carrying and moving children and objects, injuries are more likely to happen when doing these tasks and in order to minimize these injuries to have a safer environment for staff and children, staffs need to know how to handle these situation by been provided with instructions, training and adequate information in safety and health.
And to avoid lifting objects or children you can meet the children at their levels on the floor and vending on squatting to their height, or preparing the ec with objects that are suitable for the environment before children are being taken there, so you will minimize lifting objects while they are there.

ReplyDeleteI have learnt that you can educate a child by planning school trips that I'll help to develop fast and efficient learning, instead of just having them sitting in a classroom just reading and writing, trips involving them to do hands on and big group activities in an outdoor setting with educational lessons.
This will help them to connect with things in the world, allow them to explore without getting bored, also helps them to get better grades and learn new cultural background and adapt new habits in teaching them to respect other persons culture and helping parents to help them by meeting the parents at their financial need in giving their child something that they can afford and will benefit them.
